We support Birmingham Children's Hospital to improve the lives of sick children

Story

Dear Friends,

As a part of a recent initiative, a group of employees at Instarmac have teamed up to complete a number of challenges and raise money for Birmingham’s Childrens Hospital Renal Ward. A leading authority in kidney treatment and research among children, the ward offers care of the highest standards but is in desperate need of refurbishment. The Kidney Kids appeal (www.redballoonappeal.co.uk) aims to raise £1.5 million for the improvement of the ward, and is supported by a number of organisations, including the BBC West Midlands, Goodyear Dunlop, Pertemps People, Drayton Manor Park, etc., as well as individuals.

As a first stage in raising our target moneys for this worthy cause, a member of our team, Krassi Stoyanova from Instarmac Marketing, will be running the Birmingham Half Marathon on 26th October 2008. The remainder of the team will also be present to enjoy the atmosphere and help raise further cash for our chosen charity. We would therefore like to invite you to joins us on the day in whatever manner you feel able to but we would also be very grateful if you can sponsor us using the link below.

Thank you,

Team Portsmouth

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
