Story
On Sunday 14th June I will be joining a team of ex-RAF people and their families from Malmesbury who will attempt to cycle 100 miles in support of the RAF Association's big cycling fundraiser, either as families riding 50 miles each, or in my case the whole damn lot in a day!
During the lockdown cycling has become a passion, so I have been building up the miles, but have yet to crack the full 100. I know for many of us, times are tough at the moment, which is exactly why RAFA has launched this appeal, so please if you can, make a donation, however small. Thank you! - Kiddy.
From extreme loneliness to a lack of vital provisions, the ongoing COVID-19 crisis is threatening the most vulnerable in the RAF community. In response, the RAF Association has launched four emergency projects to combat these issues and demand for these services is increasing every day. With the crisis also prompting a drastic loss in income, the Association is under pressure more than ever to ensure we can support those most in need. That is exactly why we need you to join our fundraising exercise! By taking part in RAFARides: Virtual you can help raise vital funds for our emergency projects without even leaving your own home. We are challenging you to raise £100, by putting together a team of 10, and joining our virtual ride, cycling 100 miles, collectively or individually, on 14 June 2020. You will be riding alongside an incredible community of RAFA supporters, all taking part to ensure we can carry out our essential work during these difficult times.
