One of the Serious Issues we have in our Community  and in Society at large is Domestic Violence. It’s not just a ‘Muslim’ issue. It’s not only an ‘Asian issue’. 

Domestic Violence, whether that be Physical, Verbal, Psychological, Financial. it’s there! It’s a Major Public Health Problem. 

One of the final statements that the Prophet Muhammad SAW said before he passed away from this World. “Be Good To Women”.

Abuse of any form is Haraam. It is against the Religion of Islam. Those Women will stand Against you on the Day of Judgement, Reflect!

Physical, Psychological, Verbal and Financial abuse are increasingly leading to the Need to be referred to Medical Professionals as the Damage is so Severe! 

Domestic Violence  is Prohibited in Islam. It is Haraam. The message from Allah SWT is Clear. 

Allah SWT instructed us in the Qur’an Al-Kareem. ‘Respect and Honour every Human Being’ regardless of Gender, Race, Colour, Physical  Appearance , Culture , Religion, Form of Relationship, Status, Intelligence, Experience etc. 

The Prophet SAW said “May he be distant from Allah SWT Mercy, the one who is Abusive towards the Creations of Allah SWT, including Parents, Family, Loved ones”. 

Domestic Abuse does not only Damage one individual but also the Family members, especially Children. These innocent Beings endure the Trauma of Domestic Abuse against themselves and their Family members. 

This Silent Abuse endured for Generations by Women and other Victims of Domestic Abuse can change through Education!! 

“If you Educate a Man, you Educate one Person. If you Educate a Woman, you Educate a Nation”.

 “The one who saves one Life, it is as though he has saved the whole of Mankind”.
