This September in 2023, I will be climbing the Peak Districts to raise money for Bangladesh Sylhet Aid for their 2023 Winter Aid and livelihood distribution to help the poorest in Sylhet Insha’Allah (God-Willing). 

The Winter Aid Distribution supports the most poorest by providing them with:

1. Winter Blankets (£50 for 10 Blankets) – to provide warmth during the cold winter months of Bangladesh.

2. Sewing Machines (£80) - to empower young women to help them become economically independent;

3. Wheelchair (£80) - to provide independence to those with physical needs to lead a more active and independent life.

This campaign is also Zakat Eligible so you can donate your Zakat too. If your donation is Zakat, the please leave a comment saying ZAKAT so that 13 Rivers Trust can also record this.

Zakat is payment made annually under Islamic law on certain kinds of property and used for charitable and religious purposes, one of the Five Pillars of Islam.

Please give generously so that Allah (God) may also be generous to you and your family. The reality is that we have been promised by our beloved Prophet (Peace be upon him) that charity does not decrease our wealth but increases it ways we cannot imagine.
