Story
My son Bashir and I are joining a group of friends and PACES supporters on a three-day hike early August to raise funds to help less fortunate kids play football and basketball, the sports my kids are passionate about.
Your support by means of a donation to help us reach the total amount we aim to raise would be greatly appreciated. We have kicked it off with an amount equal to 11% of the total target, and your contribution, no matter how big or small would help us reach the full amount and even exceed it.
For those who are not familiar with PACES, it is a UK based charity established in 2006, with the aim of providing healthy, structured after-school sports programs for Palestinian girls and boys ages 7-16 years living in refugee camps and most marginalized and vulnerable areas in Palestine and Jordan, and Lebanon. Through its core sports program, PACES provides children with multiple educational benefits to help them thrive in their own communities. From March to November every year, children are granted an escape from being idle on the streets; an escape that is fun, healthy, and encourages participation and inclusion.
