We are two couples with 6 small children between us. We decided to challenge ourselves by climbing Africa's highest peak. Tanzania is home to Mount Kilimanjaro and to some of the world’s most beautiful wildlife. Sadly most of its population live in extreme poverty and the WHO estimates that 60 000-80 000 of them, mostly small children, die from malaria each year. Malaria is easily preventable by something as simple as mosquito nets that most families simply cannot afford. 

We are hoping to raise money to help increase awareness and provide low cost medication and mosquito nets to families that are in most need. Most of all we want to give back and help the people of Tanzania in thanks for what promises to be an adventure of a lifetime!
