Story

Four ladies from Knight Frank - Emma Goodford, Kathryn Cripps, Kate Horton and Natalie Wade are riding pedElle 2021, a 3 day cycle across Cumbria, Yorkshire and Lancashire (HILLS!). We will be riding 412km and climbing 6,600m in elevation (Mount Kilimanjaro is 5,895m...!) and raising much needed funds for childrens charity Coram. We are grateful for anything you can donate.

Emma Goodford - this is Emma’s 3rd pedElle …and the hilliest. She signed up when she was 53 and will be doing this one at 55 and the hills of the Dales and Lakes will be a mighty challenge - irrespective of the rain! Her support of the event and for Coram and other charities has been well supported by her colleagues and clients who have kindly donated for her efforts in the past. I am grateful to you for reading this page and ..I hope..adding something to the ‘donation’ section. Many thanks for your support of the Knight Frank team.

Kathryn Cripps - I signed up for this ride without owning a bike or having any clue about distance and metres climbed - it's fair to say my 3 sisters, brother and friends that did know told me I was mad ! I was pregnant with my son Mylo, who will have been just 4 months old when we set off - a serious challenge ! Due to Covid delays he is now 20 months old which at least means I won't be carrying a breast pump! I now have my own bike and much borrowed stash and understand the addiction people get from cycling - quite a few more hours in the saddle and hills to climb to reach peak fitness ahead of September. This is a monster challenge for the KF team and I can't wait to take it on side by side with you all.

Kate Horton - I'm looking forward to taking on this challenge. I know it will be incredibly hilly and will require a lot of physical and mental strength. I'm really looking forward to riding with other women across the real estate industry to complete this challenge and raising much needed funds for charity along the way.

Thank you for reading our fundraising page, any small donation would be appreciated for this brilliant cause.

The funds raised through pedElle will support the vital work of Coram, Club Peloton's main charity beneficiary, which receives 60% of grants. Coram champions the rights and welfare of children and believes every child should have the best chance of a fulfilling life. Coram helps hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children and young people every single year by developing skills, building emotional strength, upholding children's rights and finding adoptive parents for those in the greatest need. Club Peloton's other charity beneficiaries, Cyclists Fighting Cancer, MSA Trust and Tom's Trust, will receive a proportion of fundraising.
