At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Hi Everyone!

On the 14th September, I will be participating in the annual 'Memory Walk' event in Oxford, in hope to raise as much money as I can for the Alzheimer's Society. It would be great for you, and everyone that you know, to donate any amount of money you can in order to make this event really worthwhile.

Alzheimer's disease affects individuals and their families in a way that dramatically adjusts their lifestyle, and creates difficulties in normal everyday tasks. The work of the Alzheimer's Society can support people affected by this disease and help to make the challenges and struggles that it's symptoms create, as small a strain on their lives as possible. Being a disease that affects such personal attributes of individuals, it is important first and foremost, to collectively show support and empathise with the many people affected by this heartbreaking disease.

Thank you for your support, in any way that you can.
