Abseil Challenge · 19 May 2019

Take on the ultimate challenge this year and abseil off the edge of the Lister's highest building to raise funds for your local Hospital Charity!

Story

I am fundraising for the East and North Hertfordshire hospitals charity! The charity supports the four hospitals within the East and North Hertfordshire Trust- Lister Hospital, The New QEII, Hertford County and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, helping them to go above and beyond for patients and their loved ones. The charity funds the purchase of new specialist equipment, extra staff training, research and projects to enhance patient experience. You make the difference! Donate today!

Lister Hospitals Tower is 11 stories high, over 140ft, and abseiling it is a terrifying feat, more so as I am terrified of heights. This is a personal challenge for me as well as a great chance to support my local hospital. Any donations that are made are greatly appreciated. The Hospitals Charity do an amazing job, to improve the lives of all those who have to attend the hospital and I truly believe that we should all support their fantastic work.
