I am doing the 3 Peaks Challenge on 5 June 2010 in aid of Eden Valley Hospice.

The 3 Peaks Challenge is a mountain endurance challenge in which I will attempt to climb the highest peak in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 Hours.

I will be starting at Ben Nevis in Scotland (4409ft), followed by Scafell Pike in the Lake District, England (3209ft) and then on to Snowdon in Wales (3560ft).

In all the challenge involves 26 miles of ascent and descent plus 450 miles of travel between the peaks, all within the 24 hours. I will be starting the challenge at approx 6pm Saturday 5th June, the timing of this is to maximise the time of daylight hours, and hopefully will be back down to the bottom of Snowdon by 6pm on Sunday 6th June.
