Event: London Marathon 2021, on 3 October 2021
Running a marathon is an enormous personal achievement. Our London Marathon Golden Bond runners not only complete one of the most famous races in the world, but also raise funds to support some of the UK's most vulnerable children and young people.

Story

After starting running about 4 years ago, it has always been my ambition to run London marathon.

This year, I have not only been given the opportunity to realise that ambition, I also have the chance to raise money for a fantastic charity.

I am absolutely delighted to have been selected to take part in this challenge and I will be raising as much money as possible for the Brathay Trust which works towards improving the life chances of children, young people and families in the UK.

With only a short time left to prepare, the backing of everyone and messages of support will certainly help keep me going.

This is going to be a tough challenge for me and any donation you can spare will be greatly appreciated.
