Just over 5 weeks ago Dad was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer and although we knew it wasn't curable we were hoping chemotherapy would help to prolong his life, unfortunately he never made it to his first chemo session. Pancreatic cancer is the 4th biggest cancer killer in the UK and 3 out of 4 diagnosed with the disease do not live longer than 12 months. Despite these figures only 2% of all cancer funding is apportioned to Pancreatic cancer, which is predicted to be more common than Breast cancer by 2030. Pancreatic Cancer UK not only fund research into the disease but also provide invaluable support to patients and families like ours in the darkest of times. The specialist nurses were a massive help and support to us all the way through Dad's short journey and for that we are extremely grateful.

We ask that if you could please donate to this wonderful charity in memory of Kev instead of flowers for the funeral we would be exceptionally grateful.
