Walk of Hope is our annual national event raising money to bring hope to brain tumour patients and their families. It will take place on Saturday 28th September 2024, or you can organise your own Walk of Hope any day in September that suits you.

Story

Walk of Hope is our annual national event raising money to bring hope to brain tumour patients and their families. Every September, hundreds of supporters join Brain Tumour Research Walk of Hope events taking place across the UK or organise their own walks in their community, set up fundraising pages and make donations to help find a cure for brain tumours, which kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. More than 3,000 people took part in 2023, raising an incredible sum of more than £300,000 to support our vital work. This year, our walks will take place in London, Motherwell, Torpoint, Chatsworth House and Ellesmere, or you can once again organise your own Walk of Hope wherever you are. Will you step forward to help find a cure in 2024.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
