I have recently taken up the challenge of running every street in my hometown of Dumfries. In doing so I hope to raise funds to support the vital work of Dementia UK.

Dementia impacts many individuals and families in different ways and mine has been no exception. 

There are around 900,000 people living with dementia in the UK today, of which approximately 42,000 are people with young onset dementia, which affects people under the age of 65. Dementia UK is a charity that does valuable work providing Admiral Nurses to support families living with dementia.
