During the last 18 months I have lost two incredible individuals due to this awful disease so Myself and a team from Computacenter have taken to the saddle to take on the challenge of Cycling Coast 2 Coast in 48 hours. 

This was born out of the loss of Jon Lewis a wonderfully charismatic colleague who supported so many of us at Computacenter during his time with us. For me personally I will never forget the support he provided to me when I joined the organisation with a shot of friendship and a kindness that I know so many of us at CC experienced. During one of the good periods as Jon battled with his illness he said he wanted to complete the Coast 2 Coast when he returned to good health. Whilst that time never came it is an absolute honour in joining my colleagues to try and complete this huge challenge for him whilst we remember all of the wonderful things that made Jon so special. 

Whilst doing the challenge there will also be a very special family member in my thinking, someone that will never be able to be replaced. I lost my my auntie Val, my Mum lost her sister, Mike and Mandy's lost their Mum and of course Uncle Malcolm his wife. She was such a special person and nothing will ever make this loss any easier but I am looking forwards to cycling the 200 miles in her memory and recounting all of the ways she played such a positive role in our life. 

We are supporting a number of charities and Cancer Research is just one alongside Maggie's and St Francis Hospice so please where you can anything you can do to support is greatly appreciated.
