Dear Generous Friends and Family

Back home after a very fulfilling few days.  The cycling was great, apart from all the punctures (trouble with my new wheels I think).  Really hot first day to do 87 miles (especially playing catch up 13 from home after the last puncture of the day) and then a very wet 65'ish on the second.  Sunday was a very sad and emotional day for everyone there, not least for all the survivors that had lost a loved one.  Extremely proud to hand my wristband to Emma, Andy's daughter.  

It was very clear that this small effort on my part meant so much to Claire, Andy's wife, Adam and Emma, Julia his sister and his Mum & Dad and I'm so pleased that they are going to let me do it again next year, so start saving your pennies for me ;-)
