Story

I'm abseiling off the Forth Rail Bridge (the big red one) to raise money for Ian's favourite charities Teenage Cancer Trust and Maggies He was very passionate about their aims and how they help people enjoy a normal life.

If the thought of heights fills you with trepidation then think of me as I descend 165 ft supported by some old rope.

South Queensferry Rotary was founded in 1977. We have 40 members, and very active locally. In 2019 our Forth Bridge Abseil passed the £1 million, with around 3000 participants raising money for local and national charities. We support local projects e.g. trishaw, defibrillators, planters for Hig
