We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

Hi Everyone, not normally my style to ask anyone for anything!!...some may know and some may not...however Charlie(my boy)was born with two holes in his heart, one in the valve and one in the actual heart...Charlie at aged two, had to undergo an operation to fit a device, which would then close the valve and help the recovery of the main hole, as it was, the heart was being over stretched and could of failed....the operation was a success and the hole in the heart has been closing on its own ever since, allowing charlie to have a active and normal life.Hopefully by the age of eight the hole will have closed completely.

The reason i am running the marathon is i would love to give something back to GOSH ,the surgeons the staff and generally the whole hospital....

GOSH is the toughest place I’ve ever walked into, so many children with so many difficulties and the staff still managing to raise a smile and welcome you.

As you can imagine this hospital is close to my heart and i would love if everyone could give a small donation..(giving up a packet of sweets, fags, or whatever you can afford in tough times...

Thank you in advance and i promise to complete the distance.

Cheers

Kev,Emma,Charlie and Frankie J
