Story

GAME ON!

I'm putting on my running shoes. Not for a casual jaunt this time, but to take on the hardest challenge of my life!

Why I decided to take on this challenge at 65 I'm not quite sure, but the fact I'll be making a difference to a charity that is so close to me, is enough to keep me going.

In April 2023, I will be taking to the streets with the masses and running London Marathon for Prostate Cancer.

The pain I'm about to put my body through to complete this marathon falls into insignificance when compared to the pain suffered by families who have been devastated by this cruel disease.

Prostate Cancer kills a man every 45 minutes, that's 31 per day, and 12,000 per year. Let's help put a stop to this.

  • £30 can help improve the treatment given to patients
  • £50 can help enhance research tools
  • £100 can help cover the cost of running the 'Cancer chat' forum for one day

Don't just donate because you know me, donate for all those men and families who are going to be devastated by a diagnosis. Please donate what you can for the future of men's health.

Thank you, it means a lot. See you on the other side!
