I was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2016 and consider myself very lucky.  It was caught early and after surgery required no further treatment. I took up running during lockdown with the aim of being  able to run the 5K park run regularly. I then went on to run a half marathon, and now have the opportunity to run the London marathon for the Roy Castle lung cancer foundation.  I would like to raise funds for this charity as they're the only lung cancer charity in the UK and do a great job for the patients and their families.
