Story

RAFA Rides 2022 is the annual cycling fundraising event, but it is more than that, as it brings people together, wherever they are in the world, in the true spirit of RAF community. The 2022 event takes place on 11-12 Jun; however, the RAF DC Riders will conduct their event virtually on 17-18 Jun. The aim is to ride for 12hrs and see how far I can get (150-180miles is the aim). However:

To convince more people to sponsor me, I will also be doing the following events in the build up to the RAFA Ride:

1 May:   Pittsburgh Marathon - COMPLETE (3hrs 52)

22 May: The Marine Corps Historic Half - COMPLETE (1hr 46)

4 June:  The Armed Forces Cycling Classic (60 miles in 3 hours) - COMPLETE (Gold Medal achieved)

12 June: Maryland 70.3 Ironman (COMPLETE) (5hrs 49)

18 June:  The RAF DC Riders Virtual RAFA Ride 2022 (12hrs of cycling - aim to complete 150-180miles)

Thank you for supporting my fundraising, and the RAF family!
