We provide hospice care & emotional support to people affected by life-limiting illness

Story

Mark Wells of Age UK (previously of Cattles) who once met was never forgotten, sadly passed away at home with his family yesterday.   He was a client of mine for many years but became a friend very quickly.  He was a very considerate and caring person who made everyone laugh, especially with his inventive nicknames for all he met, including me!

The message below was issued by Age UK's M.D. Gordon Morris.

It is with deep sadness that I advise you that following a period of illness Mark Wells (Head of Regulatory Training) sadly passed away this morning at his home. Mark died peacefully without pain with his family by his side’.

I am entering this 75 mile cycling event to raise money for Fairleigh Hospice who cared for Mark during his illness.
