I am running the Loch Ness Marathon in October 2021 in memory of my late mum, and on behalf of The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow.

Mum passed in May this year, after a very short and unexpected illness. We were fortunate enough to be able to spend the last few days and weeks of her life with her at the hospice, where the staff were simply amazing. The level of care, compassion and attention she received there was incredible, and we are massively grateful to everyone who cared for her. She left me a note when she passed, telling me to keep running. So what better way of keeping her happy and raising some much needed funds for the hospice than taking on the challenge of the Loch Ness Marathon?
