Story
This Christmas, please help GOSH provide the gift of Play to children with some of the most complex illnesses who are spending the holiday in hospital.Who are the Play team? Playing is an essential part of a fun Chanukah when you're a child, but it's even more important when you're ill. The Play team ensures that children have access to fun and engaging activities every day. They aim to reduce stress and worry a child feels around treatment, as well as advising on play that could also support a child's recovery. The Play team provides care that goes beyond the medical needs of each child, providing an opportunity for children to work through any emotions and worries they may have about being in hospital.£200 funds a clever bunny toy that helps the Play team explain medical procedures, like blood tests and intravenous drips, through play.£647 could pay for everything a Play team member needs for one week. Please help me raise as much as I can for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
