We are all affected by cancer. We can all help!

The plan is to travel up to Fort William on 29th July, bout a 2.5hr drive from Glasgow, camp over night then after a good breakfast begin the ascent of Ben Nevis 1344m high! After reaching the summit and taking lots of pictures the descent back to the campsite starts, for a well-deserved meal and celebratory drink or two. Camp over night yet again then make way back home.

Raising money for Macmillan Cancer Suport.

Cancer is a disease that occurs when the cells of the body multiply in an uncontrolled manner creating a lump called a tumour. 

1 in 3 people will develop cancer during their lifetime.

Many people with cancer can be cured. Even if a cancer cannot be cured, it can often be controlled with treatment for months or years.
