My Dad passed away after a long battle with prostate cancer in November 2011 and as I am running the London Marathon this year it seemed like a good opportunity to raise money for The Prostate Cancer Charity. I already have a free public ballot place for the marathon so this isn't one of those "please sponsor my charity" situations where I need to raise £3000 for myself to pass onto the charity to be allowed to run the marathon. I'll be running the marathon (unless one of my legs falls off between now and 22nd April) no matter how much money I raise, so it doesn't matter if I raise 10p or £1000. So please don't feel pressured to donate, I won't be hassling anyone but any donations are greatfully received and go to a good cause.
