Story
There are three mountains in Kerry that have crosses at the top. They are Cnoc na Tober, Carrauntoohil and Mt. Brandon. As a fundraising challenge I intend to climb to the summit of the three mountain crosses in the same day, Saturday 25th of July
I sincerely hope that this is a fundraising challenge that is worthy of your support, along with the charity that I hope to raise funds for – The Lebanon Trust.
Lebanon Trust (Ireland) is a Charity created by a group of Irish and international volunteers who know and love Lebanon and its people. It is a private, nonprofit organisation with no political or
religious affiliations. Lebanon Trust’s work focuses on children and children’s institutions in Lebanon by helping with practical work and financial support. The Trust has no paid staff. All funds go
directly to the people we help. Currently Lebanon Trust supports the Father Andeweg Institute for the Deaf (FAID), in Beirut; two kindergartens for refugee children, in Beirut and in Tyre (South
Lebanon); and the Home of Hope, an orphanage in Beirut.
I will have a small number of friends and of course, family, supporting me on the day and I thank them in advance for their time and effort, given freely.
All the funds raised will go directly to this very worthy cause, to help those who can’t help themselves. I hope you can support the effort. Thank you in advance. Kevin
