Story
My name is Tazmin Chape and I am a student in year 12 at KES. I have persuaded a team of KES sixth formers and staff to take part in a 5K run in order to raise money for Great Ormund Street.
GOSH organise a Santa Dash every year, where people run in Santa outfits and raise as much money as possible for this amazing cause. So, we have decided to bring the Santa Dash to Stratford. We will run our own 5K and will be bringing along our Santa hats to get into the spirit!
I have personally visited and been treated at the hospital, so it holds a very special place in my heart. I would love to raise as much money as I possibly can, so please sponsor us and help us to achieve our goal.
Whatever we raise will be sent to the hospital just in time for Christmas, which is a very important time at GOSH. Christmas is a period that is precious to us, as we get to spend this time with our loved ones. Many children at the hospital have life-threatening illnesses and cannot go home for Christmas Day. Our money will fund accommodation for these families to stay together this Christmas and give these children the best day possible, as this Christmas may be their last. So please aid us in helping this incredible charity.
