Story
On the 10th July some of my family and friends are doing an abseil down the Ipswich Hospital Maternity Block. Despite a few of them having a fear of heights, they want to do all they can to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is one of the UK's most common life-threatening, inherited diseases which affects over 9000 people in the UK, unfortunately the life expectancy is only in the early 30's.
I am 20 years old and have 'end-stage Cystic Fibrosis' which means there are no more treatments available to improve my health, so my only option is a risky double-lung transplant.
All money raised goes towards helping to improve the lives of people living with CF. But most importantly, it funds researching a cure, which if found, could mean that in the future people with CF will never get to this stage I am at.
Please donate any money you can, all contributions will make a difference.
Thank you.
