Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After having previously run 10k races and half marathons, I have taken the plunge and decided to tick something else on the bucket list...RUN A MARATHON!!! This is not only a personal goal, but I want to make it worthwhile and have decided to raise money whilst doing it. It has been important to me to raise the profile of a local charity and have chosen one which is close to my family; The Sick Kids Friends Foundation, Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh. This charity did not exist when I was a patient shortly after my birth. Since then two other younger family members have been patients as babies at the hospital and have benefited from the work the charity does. Without fundraising and voluntary support the Sick Kids Friends Foundation could not provide the support that they do for the young patients and their families.

I really appreciate all the support I have from my family and friends during my training. It means so much to me that you would like to make a donation which will help me to reach my target for the children, and keep me focused on race day!

Thank yooooou :)
