Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Born with hereditary Polycystic kidney and Liver disease, I’ve got to a point now where my kidneys and liver need a little bit more attention. Over the last two years my kidney function has started to decline more rapidly, which will eventually lead to dialysis until a suitable kidney donor is found for a transplant. My specialist at Sheffield hospital is being funded for his ongoing research by the PKD charity, which will hopefully help other members of my family and many others one day. So, to raise some funds for the charity  I will be doing a sponsored walk from Filey to Scarborough on Sunday 18th September. As someone who normally doesn’t walk too far out of my comfort zone, I needed to push myself a little further!

I have a great group of friends who are walking with me on the day (please feel free to sponsor them) Any donations, however big or small would be much appreciated 😊

A massive thank you from myself and my twins (KIDneys) Billy & Lilly and Louise the Liver 💚
