I'm running this 10k race in memory of my best friend Bev who sadly died from breast cancer 5yrs ago. Her husband has done it every year since her death and each time I say I'll do it but never do. Well this year I've given up smoking ( for good this time) and been out running regulary in training for this event.

Bev was the most wonderful friend who is greatly missed by so many people. Her 2 children are now 16 and 14 and having to go through their teenage yrs without their mum. What better way to honour her memory and celebrate her life than donating to this cause. It doesn't have to be much and it would mean so much to Bev's family xx
