We campaign, support and fund research to stop people dying of bowel cancer

Story

Back in January 2006 I lost my nana due to bowel cancer. She was so kind, loving and had a heart of gold. She never said a bad word about anybody and always thought the best in everyone.

Spending many weekends at my nana’s growing up, I absolutely adored her. Unfortunately the cancer took hold and there was no going back as it spread. I remember the phone call like yesterday, telling me she had gone forever.  My guardian angel had flown her wings, but she is still looking down on me. Angels by Robbie Williams is always played in the most unusual places and I know she is there.

When she died i was just finding my feet moving away from home. To this day I don’t like talking about it. But the only thing getting me through these long training runs is thinking that one day there may be a cure. It would be nice to give something back!.

So I am running 50km on the 11th September to help raise money for charity. If you would like to donate please click on the link below. Any donations are much appreciated and I thank you in advance.
