Prevent Suicide Relay , 20 September 2022
To mark World Suicide Prevention Day, we are inviting those in our community to enter teams of 4 to take part in a walking relay through the market towns of Norfolk and Waveney.

Story

To mark World Suicide Prevention Day, Anglian Home Improvements team of Mental Health Champions, supported by HR Advisors, Kerry Parker and Rachel Clements, will be walking 14.5 miles from Stalham to Acle on the 20th September 2022 to raise money for our charity partner Norfolk & Waveney MIND.

By taking part in this challenge, we hope to raise awareness of how Norfolk & Waveney MIND can help ensure that no one has to face a mental health problem alone, whilst also helping to raise awareness and reduce the stigma associated with mental health.

Some of the services that MIND provide include suicide prevention and complex bereavement services, which provide free suicide awareness and intervention training, 1:1 practical and emotional support for individuals bereaved by suicide, peer group support for
those bereaved by suicide.

Moreover, our Mental Health Champions at Anglian Home Improvements are imperative to supporting our employees wellbeing across the business and helping reduce the stigma when it comes to conversations about mental health, helping to build a positive wellbeing culture throughout our business.
