Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

So at the end of May I will be running the Edinburgh Marathon in aid of Alzheimer Scotland - a great charity who campaign and give great support to people with dementia and their families all over Scotland. I have never done any sort of running race since school sports day so knowing I will be running 26.2 miles is terrifying just now. I'm not convinced that will change anytime soon despite my trusty Bupa training plan.. However, I would get some peace of mind if I managed to reach my fundraising goal of £500 by race day! So, lovely people, any sponsorship you would like to give please do and it will make my early starts this dark and cold Scottish winter that bit easier! Thank you again!
