Story
Ever since I was little I have wanted to run in the London Mararthon, every year watching it on the Television and saying "next year" but never actually doing anything about it.
However in mid January 2009 I had a reason to do something about it my wonderful Dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and the outlook was very bleak so I made a promise to my him that one day I would run it for him, sadly just a few weeks later he passed away leaving this huge emptiness in my life so for me a good run and a chat with him along the way helps a little, so here I am embarking on my first marathon in memory of Dad and raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, my target is to raise £2000, with the help of my family & friends and the generosity of the local people I have managed to raise £1580 collecting at the local supermarkets.
I still have a little way to go so please dig deep and help this very worthy cause.
