Story

Most of you know my story and the journey my family and I have been on with this devastating disease, which resulted in us loosing our beautiful Mum/Wife four weeks ago.. Yet again I will jog for Dementia UK in November but my aim is to do 75 miles, hopefully make a 100 miles 😬

Although this time round I know I can run I haven’t run properly for three months due to an injury so this is a challenge that no matter what I will complete 💙

I’m taking on the Jog 50/75/100 Miles in November challenge to support families facing dementia across the UK. Dementia UK provides specialist dementia support for families through their Admiral Nurse service. When things get challenging or difficult for people with dementia and their families, Admiral Nurses work alongside them, giving them compassionate one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions that can be difficult to find elsewhere. * Share your personal story - why have you chosen to support Dementia UK by taking part in the Jog 50 Miles in November challenge?
