Story
November is Lung Cancer awareness month, the UKs biggest cancer killer.
Today, 96 people will lose their lives to Lung Cancer. 27 of them will have never smoked.
The days are gone where Lung Cancer is associated with the elderly and lifelong smokers. Young men and women are being affected by this awful disease. People who have never touched a cigarette in their lives.
PLEASE help us make a change to get Lung cancer talked about with the respect it deserves. So that people displaying symptoms are taken seriously. So that GPs don't dismiss us as being too young, too healthy.
So that more people recognise the symptoms of Lung Cancer and seek help at the earliest opportunity. Early detections really does save lives.
96 people died today of Lung Cancer. 96 will die tomorrow and the next day too. Please share far and wide and let's work together to educated the masses that to get Lung Cancer, you just need Lungs 💙
Roy Castle Lung Foundation was set up to ensure that this disease got as much research it deserves as other cancers. I am sure I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for them. So this is my little way to say thank you and keep going, in time I hope there will be a cure.
