Story

Raphael is planning to do one of his famous ‘first time’ flights around Ireland with Liam Lynch doing a ‘touch and go’ at each of the 11 international airports.  Hopefully if the weather is kind they will complete it all in one day.  The planning is all done they just need the window of opportunity and they’ll be off!  We don’t think it’s ever been done before so fingers crossed!

The objective of the flight is to raise awareness about the need for more research into Brain Tumours which kill more young people under 40 than any other cancer but receives less than 2 per cent of government funding for cancer research.

This year’s Twilight Walk for the Brain Tumour Charity in memory of Christine has to take a different form due to the COVID-19 restrictions.  The idea is for those who usually take part to do their own virtual walk at a time and place to suit themselves and try to get some sponsorship or donations to the charity.  As you will all be aware the fundraising will be very much less overall to the Charity this year so please dig deep and encourage others to do the same and please send us your photos to share.

So whichever you choose to support please donate here.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
