Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Nearly 75 years ago, Stanley Frankfurt had a wonderful dream - his dream was to bring the highest calibre of Jewish education to Hampstead Garden Suburb. He, along with a small group of other 'dreamers', took this vision and they made it a reality. They gave us KEREM. From that one small dream, they built a BIG future for our children.
At Kerem we want our children to work hard and play hard, to discover and develop their individual gifts and talents - be they creative, physical, musical, or technological. All whilst developing a solid sense of who they are, thriving in all that they do.
We feel that now is the time to further build, innovate and grow the school to ensure that children have the best opportunities available to them. Teachers, pupils, governors and parents, have fantastic ideas for inspiring projects that they believe will enhance the learning experiences of our children. These include, but are not limited to, developing the outdoor learning environment at the Early Years Unit (EYU), building a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Maths) room, developing wellbeing spaces on both sites, creating a garden for planting, developing the outdoor play areas, increasing our music resources and much more.
We believe we can make these BIG dreams a reality. Just like those dreamers on whose shoulders we stand today. In the words of Rabbi Sacks, 'Dreams are where we start thinking about the future. They signal the direction of our journey'.
Together, let’s build, innovate and grow, in order to fulfil our dreams.
