We are raising money for Citadel Youth Centre in memory of Kenny Pringle.

Kenny lived in North Edinburgh for almost all of his life and worked in the community for many years. As a student, Kenny did a placement with the Citadel and then worked closely with them during his time in community education, and he greatly admired and respected the work that they do.

The Citadel Youth Centre in Leith provides a safe place for local kids to meet friends, do fun activities and learn new skills. Their youth workers are on hand to offer advice and support to anyone who needs it. The Citadel stands up for young people, and helps them to have a say in their community. They provide young people with learning, leisure, friendship and access to adults who care and who can do something to help whenever it is needed. Their open access youth clubs, projects and individual support are all designed to meet the needs of the young people and they work closely with parents, schools and other services to understand their needs too.
