March for Doddie , 27 March 2020
After a long wait, we are finally embarking on our Moroccan Trek! On 25th March 2022, a group of brave adventurers will head to the High Atlas mountains in Morocco to #MarchForDoddie and raise funds for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.

Story

I’m trekking in the High Atlas Mountains to raise vital funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, founded by my great mate and former Scotland team mate, Doddie Weir, following his terrible diagnosis with motor neuron disease three years ago.

Doddie and I go back a long way… we first met asteenagers in Scotland when we played against each other, and later on joined forces as team mates playing for Scotland.  Since his diagnosis, he has shown incredible courage and positivity and his usual no nonsense attitude in the face of this horrific disease.

A diagnosis that might crush another man has inspired Doddie to put all his energy and commitment to raise the profile of this incurable disease, to help fellow sufferers and to fund vital MND research. He is a true inspiration.

With your help, we hope to pioneer MND research and ultimately find a cure.

Thank you so much for your generosity!
