Story

We are going to do our best to navigate the streets, Underground and unknown in London's Soldier Challenge.  The event will raise money for the soldiers that have been wounded in action and raise awareness for veterans' issues- both physical and emotional.  More than a decade at war has severely impacted our nation, our host nation and our allies' heroes and their families.  Thanks to advances in combat medical treatment, the death rates are relatively low but the number of soldiers that have to live with life-altering injuries has increased drastically.  We are running this race in honor of those that gave the ultimate sacrifice in combat or live with the daily reminder of the chaos of war.  One shocking statistic is that more soldiers have taken their own lives after they returned home than have fallen in combat in 2010 and 2011.  Our military family is, and always will be, incredibly dear to our hearts.
