Ken Newell's Inca Challenge 2009 : Update 6th September 2009
Success and now Recovery and 50% over my Fundraisng Target. Many thanks !!!
At 07 30hrs on Wednesday 29th July 2009 the NAPAC Team arrived at the Sun Gate Machu Picchu, Peru )
After 4 days of gruelling treking, taking in the famous "Dead Woman's Pass" at 4215m ( Nearly 14 000 feet ) the NAPAC team arrived at Machu Picchu on a glorious sunny morning.
The weather had not been so kind at the beginning of the trek and the "Peru Purge" had affected a number of the party !
As the picture shows we were all smiles as we basked in the sun at Machu Picchu.
An amazing "thank you" to everyone who has helped me exceed my fundraising target by 50%. The response has been amazing.
The team managing the NAPAC support line are most grateful for all your support.
NAPAC is doing wonderful work supporting those that, in adulthood, still carry the scars of abuse in Childhood. If I reach my target NAPAC will be able to use the funds to develop the support line arrangements to ensure that a greater number of calls to the line are answered and more support given.
If you are still able to support NAPAC, donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: NAPAC gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you so much for all your encorgaement.
Ken Newell.
