In September 2021 (tide begins 24^th), I will endeavor to swim across the English Channel from Dover (around 21 miles) to the nearest point on the French coastline which is Cap Gris-Nez.  The actual distance I swim could be longer and very much depends on the conditions we experience on the day I swim.

I decided to raise much needed funds for charities close to my heart and who, each in their own way, work incredibly hard in the pursuit of improving peoples lives.  I will do so through St. James's Place Charitable Foundation to maximize your donations, who match my fundraising £1 for £1.  Through their grantmaking they support charities throughout the UK and include:

• Local Children’s Charities
• Avalon (helping families with autistic children)
• Finding Your Feet (working with amputees in all
  aspects of improving their lives)

Each of them stand on their own merits and I assure you any donations I receive will be put to very good use.
