On Sunday the 24th April we will be holding an open day and BBQ and carrying out a sponsored walkathon of the kennel dogs to raise much needed continued funds. Beechwood veterinary practice in Kidsgrove will be holding a sponsored walk/jogathon on the Monday to raise funds for us also and we though this would be a nice way to join in and support them. Every month is a battle to keep the fundraising momentum going and we felt this was a nice way to do it, have fun and the kennels dogs benefit also so win win! We aim to have walkers at the premises from 8am - 6pm on the day so 10 hours continuous! This means that instead of the dogs being restricted to their usual shorter mile long walks they can out and about for longer periods and enjoy more one on one company! If you would like to join us on the day to take part in the walkathon you can anytime from 8am-6pm! The open day itself is 12noon till 4pm if you just want to pass by, say hi and enjoy our BBQ, fundraising stalls and meet the dogs.
