Help Croydon Health Charity fund therapeutic and fun play areas for children who need hospital treatment in Croydon. From climbing walls and basketball hoops to 'chill spaces' for teenagers, help us bring play to some of Croydon's sickest children.

Story

I joined Croydon NHS Health Services in May 2020 as Fundraising & Grants Manager for its dedicated charity, a role which I love. Our urgent 'Power of Play' appeal to support sick children in hospital is close to my heart, personally and professionally.

My eldest daughter, Isla, aged 10 will run her first ever 5km and take part in the Maidstone Road Run on Sunday 6 March to raise funds. Isla was in and out of hospital for several years when she was little because of eye problems. I know how much access to play resources and equipment would have helped her.

NHS Charities are vital and I have seen first hand what a difference donations make to patients. They allow services to provide those added extras that can make a huge difference to a patient's experience.

Any size of donation is really appreciated. Thank you.
