Story
A team of 45 Kennedys employees, from eight of the UK offices, along with 2 clients, will together face the epic challenge that is ‘The Three Peaks’. The team will attempt to summit on the three highest mountains in England (Scafell Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and Wales (Snowdon), all within 24 hours!
Setting off on Saturday 10 August 2013 at the foot of Ben Nevis, after the ultimate challenge of driving 462 miles and climbing over 26 miles, the event will finish at the foot of Snowdon the following day.
As in past years, any money raised from this event will be in aid of Kennedys’ chosen charity, which this year is War Child. All monies raised from this event will be donated towards the fantastic work carried out by War Child. We are hoping to raise £15,000 from this ultimate challenge and invite you to support us in this worthwhile cause.
In a bid to boost fundraising even further, on 2nd June 2013, 12 members of the Birmingham office have volunteered to take part in the Great Midlands Fun Run in Sutton Coldfield. The run is 8.5 miles long and includes the worryingly named 'Cardiac Hill'. As a result, despite the fun suggested in the name, this will present a testing challenge for those taking part. As the team wishes to run for War Child in any event, it has been agreed that we will include this event as part of the build up to the Three Peaks Challenge in August. Please donate generously to this worthwhile cause.....
