British Red Cross/Red Crescent impressed me greatly with its work both during and after the floods in Morpeth-Northumberland, though I'm aware their work can be even more challenging in other parts of the world. What it does in the UK and internationally is absolutely brilliant, but it does need support to deliver its mission and to help communities recover from natural and man made disasters.
