Story
Hayley and Mathew have been convinced to reduce their bubbles consumption (slightly) and sign up for a triathlon!!! It's the Cheshire Triathlon in Nantwich on Sunday 22 May 2016 and will involve us swimming 500m, cycling 20k and then finishing with a 5k run.
Now we have decided to undertake this crazy challenge, we are keen that it raises some funds for charity whilst also giving us extra motivation to stick at it. We’re therefore raising money and awareness of AMMF which is the only UK registered charity working to raise funds for research into Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). This is particularly important to us as our fab friend Simon was diagnosed with this disease in 2014 and has been fighting it with amazing strength and determination along with the support of his family and friends. We've taken tips from Simon who has run several triathlons himself and we'll be doing our best to put them into action!
AMMF is a small charity and this form of cancer is rare - any donation will make a huge difference to its work plus it will have the added bonus of ensuring we do actually do the triathlon.
So, if you can, please do sponsor us.
Thanks,
Hayley and Mathew
